SUMMARY Sera from 297 patients were tested for the “auto‐immune” complement‐fixation reaction, and the serum proteins were analysed be electrophoresis and measured. Apart from a slightly increased incidence of hyper‐muntoaglobulinaemia among the positive reactors, no exclusive or regular correlation between the reaction and the levels of the various fractions was observed.
