Closed form analytical solutions for the drawdown due to a single well pumping at a constant rate from a rectangular aquifer with third‐kind (Cauchy) boundary conditions are obtained by employing the finite Fourier integral transforms. Three illustrative examples are considered and the solutions are generated at the spatial and temporal locations of interest.
