The groundwater profile sampler consists of a series of sample probes spaced in sand‐packed compartments in a screened well point. It can be used to collect simultaneously a vertical profile of groundwater samples. The sampler assists in defining the spatial and temporal variation of solutes in shallow groundwater systems.
