Experimental data were obtained from a sector tank for the transient flow toward a well. The data included both the saturated and the unsaturated flow region. The data were used to verify the accuracy of a computer solution using an implicit numerical procedure. Agreement between the two sets of data was good. The computer solution can be adapted to a wide variety of groundwater flow problems.
