We solve here the two‐dimensional problem of diffraction of an obliquely incident low‐frequency H‐polarized electromagnetic plane wave by two equal coaxial perfectly conducting infinite circular strips. Approximate expressions are derived for the far‐field amplitude of the magnetic intensity associated with the scattered wave and the scattering cross section.
