This article is a summary of presentations made on the final day of the URSI International Symposium on “Radio Probing of the High‐Latitude Ionosphere and Atmosphere: New Techniques and New Results”. It was not possible to include all of the presentations made during that session, so the guest editors have attempted to give an overview on the status of new radio probing techniques already deployed and planned for the near future. Table 1 and the frontispiece to this issue briefly summarize the more important information available at the time of preparation of this article.
