We have improved the relative vertical deformation detection capability of a network of sea level gauges in the Shumagin seismic gap, Alaska. An examination of the present noise levels suggests that the network is now capable of providing relative vertical deformation data that is quieter than data from leveling, the Global Positioning System, Very Long Baseline Interferometry, or Satellite Laser Ranging.
