A NASA scientific ballooning roadmap team is identifying requirements for a minimal and an optimal scientific ballooning program in the near term and over the next 10 to 15 years. The team, whose report might be considered by NASAs Office of Space Science as the office prepares its next strategic plan, welcomes input from the community regarding opportunities for balloon‐borne investigations, and on requirements for enabling those investigations.
