The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has created another impressive Web site about the climate. The agency's new Internet site, “A Paleo Perspective on Global Warming,” is a solid starting‐off point for information on this topic, and places current warming trends in the perspective of past climatic changes. The Web site includes reference material in the four broad categories of research, data, education, and other features. Within those categories is information about tree rings, corals, ice cores, and other research areas, archived news articles, and a good selection of links for further information.
