On January 1, Johan C. Varekamp and Bob Strangeway embarked on 3‐year terms as editors of Eos . Varekamp, new editor for volcanology, geochemistry, and petrology, is a professor at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn. Strangeway, new editor for space physics and aeronomy, is a research geophysicist at the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics at the University of California, Los Angeles.
