The Global Warming Potentials (GWPs) of CH 2 F‐CHF 2 (HFC‐143) have been estimated for different time horizons. Radiative forcings associated with this CFC alternative have been derived relative to CFC‐11 and CO 2 by introducing laboratory measured absorption cross sections into a coupled chemical‐radiative model.
