The paper contains a description of the numerical simulation of remote sensing of the Earth's atmosphere using a system of synchronously orbiting satellites based upon methods of refractional tomography. Materials of the Global Atmospheric Research Program were used for the simulations. It was shown that a system of 8 or 12 satellites linked to each other with communication lines passing through the atmosphere potentially allows reconstruction of the pressure field with sufficient precision for meteorology.
