The effect of the finite number of two‐dimensional resonant scatterers ‐ longitudinally slotted circular cylinder on forming the far‐field radiation of line magnetic current is investigated. Location and orientation of unclosed cylinders providing the maximum directivity is determined numerically. The possibility of superdirective radiation of an antenna having a reflector made of resonant scatterers with cross‐section dimensions smaller than a wavelength is shown.
