A numerical scheme is presented to analyze plane periodic surfaces used in phased arrays and scattering applications. Use is made of the grounded dielectric‐slab Green function in formulating the electric field integral equation that is solved by iterative methods. Results comparing several iterative methods are presented as well as other results for reflection coefficients, active resistance, etc.
