[1] In the paper “Wind and temperature effects on thermosphere mass density response to the November 2004 geomagnetic storm” by J. Lei et al. (Journal of Geophysical Research, 115, A05303, doi:10.1029/2009JA014754, 2010), a sentence in the final paragraph was incorrect. The correct sentence reads as follows: “The observed decrease (increase) in SO/N2 (mean molecular weight) at high and middle latitudes and increase (decrease) in SO/N2 (mean molecular weight) at low latitudes are indicated in the CHAMP mass density response with greater storm‐time mass density at lower latitudes than at higher latitudes.”
