Members of the U.S. National Science Foundation's (NSF) Geosciences Advisory Committee have requested that members of the geosciences community communicate their views and concerns to the committee in time for its next meeting on 3‐5 May in Arlington, Va. The Geosciences Advisory Committee advises the NSF Directorate for Geosciences, which supports a broad range of research focusing on understanding and predicting the Earth's environment and its habitability. At its May meeting, the committee will consider current and future geoscience plans and programs and additional issues of relevance to the community.
