A new method for confidence interval estimation of mass transfer coefficients suitable for dissolving dense nonaqueous phase liquid pools in homogeneous, water‐saturated porous media is developed. The method is based on the bootstrap resampling technique in conjunction with a least squares regression procedure. The method is successfully applied to experimental data collected from bench scale trichloroethylene pool dissolution experiments.
