A statistical analysis of the rate coefficient of nonaqueous phase liquid dissolution in porous media is performed based on general functional correlation relationships found in literature. The input variables are treated as random and assumed to be lognormally distributed. The dissolution rate coefficient statistics are derived theoretically, and the influence of various parameters and their uncertainties are examined and discussed. The impact of uncertainties in the mean grain diameter is found to be the greatest on the dissolution rate coefficient uncertainties.
