I present the detailed variations of precipitable water vapor (PWV) for a summer day using the Japanese continuous Global Positioning System (GPS) array. Spatial and temporal PWV variations show good coherence with the development of thermally‐induced local circulations, which reflect the movement of water vapor over a spatial scale of a few tens of kilometers.
