Recent studies of the adsorption of cellulase enzymes onto pretreated wood indicate that the adsorption isotherm is dependent upon the concentration of substrate in the solution. The computer studies reported in this note show that such behavior is to be expected of Langmuir type adsorption when two types of adsorbants compete for the same adsorption sites.
