The Ebola virus created a ripple of fear when its number of cases rose rapidly and drastically in\udrecent years. Ebola infection is transmitted in humans when contact closely with blood, organs\udor other body fluids of infected animals or secretions. It is often mortal as it affects vascular\udsystem of the body, results in organ failure and serious internal bleeding. Hence, this review\udwas aimed to summarize various essential aspects of Ebola virus disease and its management.\udA systematic review was carried out by collecting various literatures, published research\udarticles, notes and other published date related to Ebola virus disease. Standard supporting\udcare in a hospital setting such as replenishment of fluid and electrolytes, ventilation support,\udpain control and nutritional support is initiated to the patients to manage the symptoms and\udprevent any complications of Ebola disease since there are no Food and Drug Administrationapproved medications available. In terms of pharmacological drug therapy, favipiravir has\udbeen shown to be efficacious and safe in treating the Ebola virus disease. Nevertheless, there\udare some preventive measures as well to decrease the risk of getting the disease. Further,\udthe review suggests the efficient control and prevention of Ebola epidemic require adequate\udpolitical support from the government as well as the establishment of a robust public health\udinfrastructure and medical reserve. Strengthening of contact tracing and quarantine policies\udare also important for the prevention of Ebola virus disease. There should be a well-designed\uddisease surveillance system when a suspected case is reported. Given the elevated case-fatality\udrate and the absence of effective treatment, it is sensible to evade research ethics and develop\udthe promising future of experimental vaccines. The collection of clinical and epidemiological\udinformation of Ebola should be vigorous and systematic in the endemic affected areas
