Objective: To investigate the type of parasites in cattle in Lamongan and Gresik, East Java,\udIndonesia and their infection degree using faecal egg counting.\udMethods: Parasite egg analysis was performed using Whitlock method and sedimentation\udtechnique.\udResults: The results revealed that 18 out of 134 samples were infected. Cattle from both\udregions were infected mainly by Strongyle sp. In Gresik, this was the only parasite causing\udinfection in cattle.\udConclusions: After faecal egg counting, it is concluded that the degree of parasitic infection in\udcattle in Gresik is moderate and in Lamongan is mild
