Beta‐adrenergic blocker for hyperventilation syndrome in dentistry: A report of three cases

Hyperventilation syndrome is an acute complication sometimes encountered in dentistry and is generally treated or prevented with benzodiazepines. We report three cases of hyperventilation syndrome that were dramatically improved or prevented by intravenous administration of a beta‐adrenergic blocker.
