Research has shown that there are disease relevant psychological factors which have an influence on the onset and course of pain disorders. In the past decade, research in patients with low back pain (LBP) has detected painrelated fear-avoidance and endurance responses (FAR and ER) as risk factors for the development of chronic pain1. In migraine, only FAR are investigated so far2,3. One reason for this could be the high comorbidity with psychiatric diseases as major depression and anxiety disorders in migraine. Although there are first indications that endurance responses could play a role in chronification of migraine4, a systematic research is missing.
