La conformación de actitudes políticas de los jóvenes universitarios en el contexto preelectoral 2015 en Nuevo León

Todas son necesarias para hacer que los individuos tengan derechos y obligaciones sociales y políticos; para ello, los líderes, piezas claves en el mantenimiento del sistema político, deberían cumplir sus funciones adecuadamente, así como representar a los sectores sociales y cumplir con las reglas considerando los valores democráticos.22Lester Milbrath y M.L. Frente a este contexto, el ciudadano se vincula con el sistema político a través de los medios, y además cuenta con una mayor conciencia sobre el fenómeno del poder, que se percibe como algo a lo que el ciudadano tiene derecho. Este trabajo analiza la participación político-electoral de los jóvenes universitarios en el estado de Nuevo León y evalúa el papel de los medios de comunicación y su influencia en la conformación de las actitudes políticas. Por tal motivo, se propone un modelo explicativo de la participación política electoral considerando dichas variables.AbstractThe participation of citizens is an essential component of democracy, because being as the first step of it is the vote, we must recognize that there are different forms of participation, where all are necessary for individuals to have social and political rights and obligations, to that leaders are key elements in maintaining the political system and they should perform their duties properly, as the representation of the social sectors and to accomplish considering the rules of democratic values. Against this background the citizen is linked to the political system through the media, in addition to greater awareness of the phenomenon of power, perceived as something that the citizen is entitled. This paper analyzes the political-electoral participation of university students in the state of Nuevo Leon, to assessing the role of the media and its influence in shaping political attitudes. Therefore an explanatory model of electoral politics participation considering these variables is proposed
