Today hundreds of people are diagnosed with COVID-19 but in this case report we are introducing an asthmatic child presenting COVID-19 symptoms who didn’t improve despite appropriate treatment for asthma, pneumonia and COVID-19. Further examinations revealed a surprising underlying disease. It is Important to consider that in pandemics such as COVID-19, since all attention is paid to the disease, underlying hidden causes may be neglected. This report aims to inform physicians not to be overwhelmed by current events.
