Metronomic chemotherapy has shown encouraging efficacy and low toxicity in various tumor types and is one of the best treatment options for heavily pretreated patients or patients with advanced age and/or poor performance status. We demonstrated a patient with metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma who experienced durable disease control under etoposide-based combination metronomic chemotherapy
