The purpose of this article was to present in a consolidated way the various issues associated with colorectal cancer care, many of which have already been widely surveyed and published. However, most clinicians probably neither recognize nor incorporate this clinically beneficial information into the routine care of their colorectal cancer patients. These issues include prehabilitation, fast-track rehabilitation, and the impacts of exercise and physical activity on patient functional capacity, quality of life, cancer recurrence and survival
