male (100%), and had a mean age of 72 years old. The majority (91%). of the sample had co-occurring mental health diagnoses. A dependent samples T-Test was utilized to explore if technology-enhanced interventions had a significant effect on patient distress. Findings indicated that there was a significant difference between average veteran rated subjective distress ratings before intervention and average veteran rated subjective distress ratings after intervention (t(22)1⁄43.631, p1⁄4.001). The effect size for the difference in subjective distress ratings was large (d1⁄4.757). Dependent samples t-tests were also completed to evaluate if technology-enhanced interventions had a significant effect on clinician-rated observed behavioral indicators of Veteran distress. A significant difference was found when comparing clinician-rated observations before and after the intervention for facial distress behaviors (t(22)1⁄44.234, p<.001), elevated breathing behavior (t(22)1⁄41.795, p1⁄4.043), agitated body movements (t(22)1⁄42.267, p1⁄4.018), aggressive vocalizations (t(22)1⁄42.774, p1⁄4.005) and threating posture (t(22)1⁄42.514, p1⁄4.01).
