in doing things almost everyday in the last 2 weeks. The percentage of people reporting a lack of interest in pathological conditions known for suffering from apathy and anhedonia were significantly higher (4.4% in neurodegenerative disorders; 8.9% in neuropsychiatric disorders; 4.4% in cerebrovascular disorders; 4.3% in people who suffered from head injury). Conclusions: Taken together these results confirm that lack of interest and anhedonia, despite being more common in neuropsychiatric conditions, can be present in a minor percentage of the healthy population. Limitations of employing self-reports in the general population and in people with neuropsychiatric conditions will be discussed.
