cutoff value accepted by most studies is used, the specificity is too low (<33%). It lacks a relatively balanced performance in both sensitivity and specificity to identify cognitive impairment patients with MCI. The AUC was 0.68 (95%CI:0.570.79, P1⁄40.004). Conclusions: Considering the low specificity self-rated AD8 may not be capable to screen MCI, and it may be an alternative tool for screening dementia in people with subjective memory complains if an adjusted cut-off value used.
