meaningful or trustful manner. Conclusions: Siblings’ relationships are often significantly affected during and after the caregiving experience of a parent with AD. The effects of the caregiving process and alteration in sibling dynamics can change this relationship permanently. Siblings need increased therapeutic communication and even therapy and family meetings to survive the caregiving process in a positive and therapeutic manner to keep their relationships intact.
