P1‐665: SELF‐PERCEPTION OF HEALTH, PARENT‐CHILD CAREGIVER RELATIONSHIP QUALITY, SATISFACTION WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDSHIP RELATIONSHIPS: PREDICTORS OF LIFE SATISFACTION AND DEPRESSION IN BRAZILIAN ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE CAREGIVERS

(average age 1⁄4 77; 28% female) participated. Results showed statistically significant pre-post rehearsal improvement in overall profile of mood states scores (mean reduction1⁄4 13.2 points; p<0.001) and in each of the sub-domains (tension, depression, anger, fatigue, confusion, vigor). Conclusions: With caregiver depression, social isolation and behavior issues with dementia a widespread problem, results suggests that chorus programs like GVC can be a community-based solution to address these issues. We are currently expanding the study to include the satellite sites of the GVC.
