on average by 1.13 with a 95% CI of 0.183-2.096, while non-mutation carriers with suicidal ideation had higher GDS scores on average by 3.95 with a 95% CI of 2.91-4.86, than non-suicidal individuals. Furthermore, non-mutation carriers with suicidal ideation had higher NPI-Q scores than non-suicidal individuals, contributed by sub-scales of depression and anxiety. Interestingly, non-mutation carriers who are suicidal had higher GDS scores than mutation carriers who are suicidal. There is no significant difference in the psychometric assessments between suicidal and nonsuicidal individuals among mutation and non-mutation carriers. Conclusions:Suicidal ideations are prevalent among asymptomatic ADAD at-risk individuals, especially among those with greater depressive symptoms, regardless of their genetic mutation status. Early identification of suicidal thoughts could facilitate a timely intervention to prevent suicide behaviors.
