dementia incidence in theMENA region. The rates are in the high range of incidence, lower than Venezuela,Mexico and China and close to European and North American countries’ estimates. The use of standardized measures and validated tools, increased the internal and external validity of our results and allowed for comparisons. It is important to document baseline incidence data in order to evaluate the effect of future interventionsondiseaseoccurrence.More analysis will be carried out to assess dementia risk factors.
