CDR sum-of-boxes increases (4.8464.02 vs 1.6561.48, t1⁄46.47), and Korean-version MMSE decreases(20.6565.12 vs 25.9963.36, t1⁄4-6.74) than ddTHK negative group. This was more significant than vFBB +ve (N1⁄457) vs. -ve (N1⁄473) results (CDR: 3.6063.28 vs 1.4361.47, t1⁄43.04; KMMSE: 22.6364.87 vs 26.3563.32, t1⁄4-5.14). Only a few vFBB-ve subjects (6 from 67) were ddTau+ve whereas about half of vFBB+ve (25 from 57) were ddTau+ve. Furthermore, the six vFBB-ve-butddTau+ve subjects were all proven to have Braak-stage 5 by visual scoring. Taken together, we suggest vFBB leads (comes first than) ddTau. Similar results were found that ddTau leads ddCthick/ddSubvol, but no definite causality between vFBB/ ddCthick and vFBB/ddSubvol was found. Conclusions: Based on our results, we suggest amyloid +ve leads tau +ve. Further analysis of cortical/subcortical atrophy is warranted for further understanding of all of these multimodal data-driven indicators.
