of making an error on the next visit for the ADAS-Cog, RBANS and CDR, three of the more comprehensive measures used in AD trials. In contrast, the MMSE cognitive screener and ADCS-ADL-MCI subjective caregiver-reported measure were not impacted by longer lag time. Overall, remedial rater training during long lag times in AD clinical trials and implementation of electronic tablets would likely help improve signal detection by lowering error variance for most commonly used COAs.
