department, we measured the concentration of albumin with an affinity for Cu ions and compared the results based on one-way analysis of variance and a multivariate analysis. Results: There were no differences in age or sex between the three groups. The concentration of albumin with an affinity for Cu ions decreased in the following order: AD < MCI < control. Conclusions:Blood albumin with an affinity for Cu ions might be a potential biomarker for MCI (due to AD) and AD.
