EASI and NNB-E were of significant value in diagnosis. Persons with aMCI were found to perform worse not only on memory tasks but also on attention and executive functions tasks. Neuropsychiatric symptoms were prevalent and influenced cognitive performance. Therefore, screening for MCI and early dementia should include tests which give an indication of multiple cognitive deficits as well as point out the neuropsychiatric symptoms.
