interventions initiated by the music therapists that were adapted for use by the CNAs to use independently. Conclusions: Participating in music therapy along with music-based programs facilitated by CNAs leads to decreased symptoms of agitation in people with Alzheimer’s disease. These findings suggest that services provided by music therapists can be sustainable through prescribed programs created specifically for CNAs to conduct. A larger study duplicating our procedures would help to validate our findings.
