(OR 1.2, p1⁄4.25) were not significantly associated with depression incidence. The degree of consistency among measurements were 0.91 and 0.99 for intraobserver agreement, and 0.95 for interobserver agreement. Conclusions: While the initial WMH score was not a predictive factor of probable AD onset or geriatric depression onset, changes in WM cerebrovascular burden were significantly related to progression from MCI to probable AD. These results therefore suggest a link between the increased load in WMH and the onset of probable AD.
