ADAS-cog: Alzheimer’s Disease Assessment Scale cognitive subscale, score 0-70 with higher score indicating worse global cognition. DAD: Disability in Alzheimer’s Disease, score 0-40 with higher scores indicating greater disability. NPI-Q severity: Neuropsychiatric Inventory-caregiver symptom severity, score 0-36 with higher scores indicating more severe behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia. NPI-Q distress: NPI-Q caregiver distress, score 0-60 with higher scores indicating more caregiver distress due to behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia. *Significant change from baseline (p < .05).
