education exhibited steeper cognitive decline in visual memory recognition test and MMSE. In contrast, more lacune was associated with less steep decline in semantic COWAT and Stroop color reading test, and APOE4 carriage was associated with less steep decline in Stroop color reading test. Conclusions: In SVaD patients, positive PiB scan, more microbleeds, higher WMH volume, and higher level of education were poor prognostic factors, while more lacunes and APOE4 carriage were associated with less steep decline in some neuropsychological tests.
