Shankle et al. (2009) developed the Memory Performance Index (MPI) from the Consortium for the Establishment of a Registry for Alzheimer’s Disease (CERAD) word list to provide a sensitive indicator of amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment (aMCI) and dementia.1, 2 The MPI yields a score from 0-100 ( 70.
