The mean absolute difference was higher for AD (15%) than for MCI (11%) or NC (8%). Based on a cut-off value of 1.4, the rate of misclassification between PiB-positive and negative was 3.1% at baseline, 3.6% at 18 months and 2.6% at 36 months. Conclusions: The automatic PET quantification obtained a good correlation with manual measurements, especially in subjects with low neocortical SUVR. The rate of misclassification between PiB positive and negative was low enough to make it potentially suitable for use in clinical settings.
