with daily walking activity across groups (AES: P 1⁄4 0.049). iii) The predicted greater impact of apathy in the AD group compared to the CTL group on walking activity was not observed (group x AES: P 1⁄4 0.37). Conclusions: The main finding of the study was that withdrawal from daily activities, reflected by steps/day, was correlated to affective state. However, the hypothesized additional effect of reduced motivation in AD on daily walking activity was not observed. On-going work is focused on assessing GPS-based global mobility measures.
