strategy is a novel approach in designing multifunctional compounds that target multiple risk factors involved in AD development. CM/LR anchorage can efficiently increase the accessbility and efficacy of the multifunctional warhead in the bivalent compounds. These bivalent compounds can serve as both potential lead compounds for effective AD-modifying agents and pharmacological tools to help unravel the cooperative roles of the multiple risk factors in the pathogenesis of AD.
