attenuated, in the dose-range tested, the hyperphosphorylation of tau on physiological epitopes (AT-8 antiboby clone) and on pathological epitopes (AT-100 clone). Conclusions: These experiments showed that the mixed muscarinic and sigma-1 receptors ligand attenuated the tauopathy through activation of the PI3K/P-AKT/GSK-3ß pathway in the oAß model of AD, confirming its potent neuroprotective activity.
