associated withWBA, although this association was not observed in the ML direction. Conclusions: Our findings indicate that the rate of whole brain atrophy is related to trunk movement control during dual-task gait, but not normal gait. This supports the idea that dual-task gait is more cognitively demanding than normal gait. In addition, it suggests that trunk movement control recruits neuronal resources. Additional studies are necessary to further elucidate the effects of regional atrophy on the control of gait.
