caregiving (mean d 1⁄4 4.16). Caregivers who received the intervention (mean d 1⁄4 .82) and those in attention control reported a decrease in depression (mean d 1⁄4 -1.24). Conclusions: Technology-based intervention programs hold promise for improving outcomes for AD caregivers. There is a need to: evaluate the efficacy of these types of interventions with larger more diverse samples of caregiver; rigorously evaluate the cost-effectiveness of these types of interventions; and the degree that they can be translated into community settings.
